Power of representation: Female Metis Entrepreneur Christine Marie

This week on Unpacked we are chatting with Christine Marie, Owner of Canadian shop Awasis Boutique in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.  The Unpacked Team chats with Christine about her life growing up as an indigenous person, starting her business as a female indigenous entrepreneur and single mama to her sweet boys. She shares the story of the powerful realization of representation  that inspired her business and why she uses instagram to not only sell, but educate followers on Metis culture. Christine shares the story of becoming an adult and learning to embrace her background and now how she is changing the story of shame around their culture for her two boys.
