Power, Purpose and Plan of the Gospel

In this Exponential 2013 podcast, Jeff Vanderstelt talks about the power, purpose, and plan of the gospel. Discipleship can no longer be seen as an "add on" or optional aspect of the mission of the Church. The imperative of the Gospel is that we make disciples who make disciples. For us to fully grasp this, a full and powerful understanding of the gospel must be seen through two lenses: Power and Purpose. When understood in this way, the gospel is both the power that saves us and it gives us the purpose for which we have been saved.
