Power Shutoffs, Tax Increases, stadiums and EmX

A weekend of power shut offs and evacuations that could all have been avoided if only the US Forest Service put out the single tree fire that became the Cedar Creek Fire. I am really angry about this as it is just the latest example in a string of large fires that could have been stopped early, some that took lives and homes. Tax increases and stadiums were on our agenda again this week. More votes have been counted in the recall of Claire Syrett and the yes to recall side has expanded their lead. It seems that mass timber construction is being embraced by climate activists yet their policies are leading us into a wood shortage and larger, more frequent forest fires.
