Power Through Prayer

This reveals a vital leadership principle: prayer is not something we do when we have time—it is the source of our strength, clarity, and direction. The more pressure Jesus faced, the more He prioritized time with the Father.True power in leadership flows from alignment with God. Jesus didn’t act independently—He listened, received direction, and spoke only what the Father revealed to Him. His authority in public came from His dependence in private.The disciples recognized this connection and didn’t ask Jesus to teach them how to preach or perform miracles—they asked Him to teach them how to pray. They understood that public power is birthed in private prayer.This episode challenges us to examine our own lives: Are we relying on our own strength, or are we drawing from God through prayer? Because ultimately, effective and fruitful leadership is not built on busyness, but on a life surrendered and aligned with God through prayer.
