Power | Where Does Your Authority Come From?
from Mosaic Denver Hosted by Mosaic Denver
In Luke 20:1–8, Jesus is confronted by religious leaders who demand to know where His authority comes from. But instead of submitting to their trap, Jesus reveals a deeper truth: authority rooted in heaven sets people free—while authority tethered to the world seeks to control. In this sermon from our Power series, guest preacher Miguel Warren challenges us to consider how we use the influence God has entrusted to us. Whether in our homes, workplaces, or relationships, we all carry authority. The question is: is it shaped by pride, or surrendered to the way of Jesus? Real power is found not in control, but in Christ-centered humility and Spirit-led courage.
