Powerful Prophecy (Sermon: Daniel 9:20-27)

Do you marvel at fulfilled prophecy? Do you look for prophetic fulfillment on the horizon? Pastor/Professor Andrew Marquez preaches from Daniel 9:20-27. These verses provide the angelic answer to Daniel's prayer. The answer is a message about the future filled with tasks and a timeline. We see a countdown to the coming of Christ. We learn of the Messiah being cutoff along with the collapse of the sanctuary and the holy city. Eventually, one will appear to deceive and cause desolation. His time however is known and limited. God's knowledge of the future offers comfort to believers. God's promises are reliable since He holds time in His hands. Dr. Andrew Marquez is Director/Dean of Wayland Baptist University's Arizona Campuses (www.wbu.edu/arizona) and Executive Pastor of North Swan Baptist Church (www.northswanbaptist.com).
