Powerless

The first step in recovery is admitting that we are powerless over our addictions and compulsive behaviors, that our lives had become unmanageable. Powerless is not a word that many of us want to identify with, we see this as weakness. Admitting we are powerless takes us out of the fantasy life that many of us lived in and puts us into reality. Now we are ready to begin our new life
