from The Podcasters' Studio Hosted by Ray Ortega

With the recent update of the Powerpress plugin for Wordpress, your podcast can now be HTML5 and Apple device friendly. HTML5 player for non-flash devices This is an important point because of the iPhone's dominate spot in the mobile market and the rise of the iPad as the primary tablet device of choice (at the time of this post). This translates into many people viewing your podcast on idevices and in order for them to play your episode via a player on your site, it needs to be an HTML5 player. Powerpress 2.0 now allows you to embed an HTML5 player along with many new features. To see how I am currently setting up my Powerpress plugin, see the images I posted at the end of this blog post: Powerpress 2.0 and HTML5 Subscribe to Podcast Quick Tips
