Practical Atheism
from Matter of Theology · host Chris Huff and Drew Von Nieda
The Puritan Stephen Charnock uses the phrase "practical atheism" in order to describe someone who does not deny God, but lives as though God does not exist. We can move this idea ahead to our modern day and we would call this lukewarm christianity. In this episode, we discuss practical atheism and some causes that would guide a person down that path. It is our hope that this episode blesses you and challenges you to run to scripture, examine yourself, and see if you are living in a manner worthy of the Gospel is Jesus, or are you really a practical atheist.
