Practice Session #17
from Five-to-Midnight (live sets) · host Five-to-Midnight
As part of the DJ Five-to-Midnight podcasts, the Practice Sessions podcast series is a spin-off which chronicles how she gets ideas for her live audience performances. They’re basically home demos. Most run about two hours in duration. Some are more polished than others. These won’t be posted in any particular order. EPISODE NOTES: Practice session #17 was recorded the day the Science and Security Board for the Bulletin of the Atomic Sciences said nope to 11:55 p.m. and changed things to 11:57 p.m. for the Doomsday Clock. It was brought closer to midnight doom not only because of continuing atomic threats and nuclear waste disposal challenges, but also because of escalating climatological effects of the Anthropocene. All DJ Five-to-Midnight podcasts from this date onward reflect this adjustment of the Doomsday Clock with a transparent “7” for all accompanying podcast art.
