Practicing Patience + Perseverance | #26

from A Cult of Misfits · host Matt Owens

In this transmission I talk about practicing patience in my life; more patience with my kids, more patience with the idiot driving in front of me on the freeway, more patience when standing behind the chatty old lady paying with a check at the grocery store, and more patience when waiting on the universe to deliver my manifestations. I dive into a few of the practical things I do in my own life to cultivate more patience. Spoiler alert: it involves meditating more and scrolling Instagram less. Sometimes when we try something new (like practicing patience) we tend to be awful at it and it's tempting to go back to our comfort zone, the old way of doing things. I have learned many lessons the last few years about persevering, not giving up, even when the path ahead of you seems impossible, you're scared out of your mind, and when you have people in your life constantly telling you that you can't do it or that you're on the "wrong path". Let me remind you...you can do it. You got this. ___________________________ Full Episodes of A Cult of Misfits available on Spotify + YouTube! 🙃 Follow @acultofmisfits on Instagram + TikTok + Twitter (X) (memes, podcast clips, and more!)
