Practicing The Way: Healing From Sin

This week we continue our series on Practicing The Way, with Pastor Heather Ameye-Bevers bringing us a message titled: Healing From Sin, preaching out of Mark 2:17.Heather will be exploring how Jesus is portrayed as the healer of our souls. Sin is more complex than we think. We know sin is done by us, and to us, and is in our culture, but we don’t realise how deep it is in our bones and in our being. Heather explores how we need to confront and surrender our sins, attachments, and the deeper issues that separate us from God, trusting in Jesus as the ultimate source of happiness and peace, even amidst suffering, which can help strip away our unhealthy attachments. She shares how the good news is that as we engage deeply with the nature of sin, we fully embrace the grace and healing offered through Christ.
