Having understood a little of what praise means, let us go further to study the components of the blessing given by Jacob to Judah. We must know that Judah received the first blessing of all of Jacob’s sons. Taking a look at the components of the blessing given by Jacob to his sons, the blessing given to Judah had the most components, perhaps the greatest blessing. Judah was not altogether a good or perfect person. Like righteousness, praise is also a garment that a believer must possess God. The garment of praise delivers and prevents from worrying about the past and being burdened with the future.
