Prakash Kannan - Chief Economist and Head of Total Portfolio Management at GIC

Join us for another astounding episode at Focal Point where today we are joined by Prakash Kannan, the Chief Economist and Head of Total Portfolio Management at GIC. Prior to his role at GIC, Prakash was an Economist at the Research Department of the IMF (International Monetary Fund), a desk economist for Turkey in the European Department of the IMF and an economist at the Central Bank of Malaysia during the Asian Financial Crisis. Prakash has a PhD from Stanford University, a BSc in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and currently sits on the Advisory Board for the Centre for Asset Management Research & Investments (CAMRI) at the National University of Singapore Business School and as Council Member of the Economic Society of Singapore.
