Pray and Do (2Sam 5.22-25) - 7-16-23

July 16, 20232Sam 5.22-25 and Acts 4.29-31 Pray and DoCertain things only God can do. Other things God uses us to accomplish them. David had a burden on his heart to protect the Israelites. He could not control the Philistines (their Israel's enemy) and what they decided to do. That's in God's hands. But he did his part by praying and then doing what God told him to do. He got the victory!The Apostles had a burden on their hearts to preach the Gospel as Jesus commanded them. They could not control the Jewish Council who tried to stop them from preaching by threatening them. That was in God's hands. But they did their part by praying and then doing what God told them to do. They got the victory and the Word of God spread!Pray and do! We need more prayers and more doers! Be both! Amen
