Pray First

from Cyril Guerette — Sermons & Teaching

The Groundswell Church, Groundswell DNA: Exploring Our Spiritual Foundations · Ephesians 6 “The Holy Spirit speaks to our hearts in a way that nothing else can. So when you pray in the Spirit, you're praying in a way that God is giving you the power to pray. It's like God is praying to God through you. It's pretty amazing, The words that you get are God giving them to your heart and then you give them back to Him. … And yeah, it's not easy because what it takes is us to concentrate our hearts and to actually give Him that time to actually make it part. Because the one thing, if the enemy wants to do anything, he's going to try to stop you from this. From taking prayer seriously, or making prayer a priority. It's going to be the thing you tap on at the end of the day. … But if you actually pray in the Spirit, then you're spiritually alive.” Passage: Ephesians 6:18 Read the post: https://www.cyrilguerette.com/sermon-blog/2023-01-08-pray-first To start a new year we take it back to the beginning.
