Pray For Me - Strength in Weakness

from Thy Kingdom Come Prayer Movement · host Alive in Christ Lutheran Church

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 12:9-10"But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”Prayer:God of all grace, when _______ feels weak and vulnerable, remind them that Your power is made perfect in weakness. Help them not to hide their struggles but to bring them boldly to Your throne of grace. Show them that Your strength is most evident when they acknowledge their need for You. Help them to boast in their weaknesses so that Your power may rest upon them. When they face hardships, persecutions, or difficulties, help them remember that these are opportunities for Your strength to be displayed. Give them grace to trust You in their weakest moments, knowing that this is when You show Yourself strong on their behalf. Make them a testimony of Your sufficient grace. Amen.
