Lord, all things consist. You are the light. You are truth. You are love.
You have all power. You feel all spaces. You know all things. You do not change.
So we come and we humble ourselves before you, the Almighty. And we want to thank you tonight for this privilege of being gathered in the house of the Lord. We thank you for all of the saints of God who are here, for any visiting friends. And Lord, we have not come for a form of fashion.
But we've come to bless you and depreciate you. We've come to thank you and to magnify your great name. We honor you for you are good and you are great. And Lord, as we stand here now, we ask that you speak to our hearts from your word that lives in the vice forever.
Feed us Lord with what we need, that our souls might be nourished up with good doctrine and strengthened in thee. Lord, you know the needs of your people tonight. Meet those needs we pray in the name of Jesus. There'll be some that are sickened body.
We ask for a divine touch of healing in the name of the Lord Jesus. If anyone is discouraged, help them to lift their heads to you. Lord, no matter what the problem or the trouble might be, we bring it to you. We leave it at your feet.
We ask you for your help. Pakamoshanda, aah, glory, hallelujah. Yay, Lord, for you can do it. And so we thank you for grace that enables us, your grace.
And bless us tonight in your word. Anoint us and use us for your glory. And we will praise you forever for you are worthy in the name Jesus Christ, our Lord we pray. Amen, amen.
God bless you tonight. You may be seated in the name of the Lord. Amen. We hear of honor to the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We thank Him for this privilege of being gathered tonight in the house of the Lord where we have been blessed to enjoy. Such wonderful fellowship and have the privilege to worship the Lord together in spirit and in truth. We thank God for the fact that we know the true and living God. Amen.
We don't wonder about Him. We thank Him for self-revelation. He revealed Himself to us, hallelujah. Some of us perhaps we thought we knew Him before we heard this way, but now that we are in this way, this apostolic Pentecostal way, we've come to know Him, home to know His life eternal.
Amen, we do honor the Lord Jesus Christ. We thank God for our ministers of the gospel. We thank God for our deacons, for our First Lady and Mother getters, for all of our church mothers, and for all the brothers and sisters in Christ that are gathered together tonight. And we have just enjoyed ourself in this wonderful worship service being sponsored by chosen generation.
Amen. Adults, young adults who have real bills praise the Lord. Amen. They're real people.
And we thank the Lord for them and how they're continuing on in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I want to ask you to please remember a nephew of Mother Huey's in your prayers. Mr. Lordston Grant is not doing well at all.
That's why Mother is not here tonight visiting with him in the hospital. But no matter how bleak things get, we know that God is able. There's nothing impossible with the Lord. Amen.
Amen. And so let us offer a prayer for Mr. Grant. God will have mercy upon him.
Hallelujah. And touch his body for God is able. Thank the Lord. We have a busy weekend ahead of us.
We're looking forward to it. It is the Mother's Day weekend. Hallelujah. We're excited about all this going to take place.
And so I have no intention of holding you very long tonight, whether you say, amen or not. Amen. I want to be brief. Praise the Lord.
Hallelujah. Amen. And so I'm going to invite you right now to turn with me to the 11th chapter of the Gospel According to Luke. Amen.
11th chapter of the Gospel According to Luke. And we're going to talk about a very familiar subject. I want to begin at verse 1. We're going to consider the first 13 verses of Luke.
Pray for those who do not see, some saints who are already traveling. For this holiday, let us pray that the Lord will take them through their destination safely as they go to visit and relatives. Pray that the Lord will be with them. Amen.
Luke chapter 11, verse 1, and the Bible reads, and it came to pass that as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples. And he said unto them, when ye pray, say, Our Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done as in heaven, so in earth.
Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. And he said unto them, which of you shall have a friend?
And shall go unto him at midnight. And say unto him, friend, lend me three loaves, for a friend of mine is in his journey, is come to me. And I have nothing to say before him. And he from within shall answer and say, trouble me not.
The door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed. I cannot rise and give thee. I say unto you, though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend. Yet because of his importunity, he will rise and give him as many as he needs.
And I say unto you, ask, and it shall be given you. Seek, and ye shall find, knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For everyone that askseth receiveth, and he that seeketh findeth, and to him that knocketh, it shall be opened. If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone?
Or if he asks a fish, will he give for a fish? Will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children.
How much more shall your heavenly father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? Amen. And from the 11th chapter of the Gospel of Mark, verse 24 reads, therefore I say unto you, what things so ever ye desire? When ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Thank the Lord. I'd like to use for a thought tonight, pray on. Pray on. Amen.
We had a beautiful prayer service on Wednesday night. The presence of the Lord was here. If you missed it, you missed a good time in the Holy Ghost. Praise the Lord.
Some were reaching out. Praying that the Lord would fill them with the gift of the Holy Ghost. Others were standing alongside them, encouraging them to receive the Holy Ghost. Others were making petition and intercession to God for things that they or others need.
And we were blessed as the glory of God came upon us as we praise the name of our God and worship the Lord in song after prayer. And we must continue to pray earnestly as Sister Elizabeth brought out a man in her reading tonight. This church was founded on its knees. Praise the Lord.
Amen. Prayer is our cornerstone. And prayer is vital to our spiritual survival, our spiritual growth and development in Christ. And since I don't ever want you to underestimate the power of prayer, praise the Lord, even if it doesn't seem like you're always getting what you ask for or what you want, first of all, you always want the will of the Lord to be done.
Because his way is not our way. His thoughts are not our thoughts. Praise the Lord. Amen.
So when we pray, let us pray, be leaving. Let us pray fervently. Let us pray that the will of the Lord will be done. Praise God.
Because when you pray, amen, some special things are happening inside you. The Lord is refreshing your spirit, amen, by the anointing of the Holy Ghost. And if you continue to pray as you ought to, for Paul said, pray without ceasing. You'll find that this discipline practice will make you more sensitive to the operation of the Spirit of God in your life and in the earth.
And so I implore you tonight to keep praying, because the Lord will do great things for us. And he'll do great things through us if we stay on our knees. Praise the Lord. And there perhaps is no better scripture that we can turn to to learn some things about prayer than this 11th chapter of the Book of Luke.
Amen. Right off the bat in verse one, we find Jesus being our perfect example again. He was praying. Praise the Lord.
If Jesus had to pray, you and I have to pray. He was gone all mighty and flesh, but amen, as a man, he found it necessary to pray. Sometimes he would rise up very early in the morning while his disciples or family members were still asleep. And he would steal away, as it were.
He would go someplace where he wasn't disturbing anyone, and he would talk to his heavenly Father. During this time, he would be guided and instructed and anointed and empowered. Amen, for the work he was sent to do, praise the Lord. And so he was praying and praise the Lord, amen.
Apparently somebody was paying attention to him. And they had enough courtesy to wait until he finished before they asked the question. It must have been something about the way that Jesus prayed. It made them feel I want to pray like Jesus.
Praise the Lord. Recently, someone called and said, listen, I want to invite one of your preachers down because I've got some young men here who are trying to pray like him. What an honor, praise the Lord. Amen.
In a day and time when folk are trying to sing like other folks or play instruments like other folks or talk or walk like other folks, amen. Here are some young people that are turned down by prayer. Praise the Lord, our God. Amen.
They just want to pray like, well, we only our own prayer life, is that right? Amen, but it's a wonderful thing to be stirred in your heart. And so the disciples, amen, the way that Jesus finished and they said, Lord, teach us to pray. Hallelujah to God, hallelujah.
We need to say the same thing today, Lord. Teach us to pray. Hallelujah. Jesus said, men are always pray and not faint.
Don't ever get in your mind, praise the Lord. I know the Lord well enough now that I can just read a few scriptures and I'm all right. Praise God, everybody from the pulpit to the door and back needs to learn how to lay on their face before God. Hallelujah.
And seek the Lord. Hallelujah with all that's within them. Seek him earnestly. Seek him often, praise God.
Because this is going to be your lifeline. Hallelujah. Singing is good, praise God. Padding our feet is good, clapping our hands, jumping up and down, running around the church.
All that is part of it. But let me tell you, you can do all of that and not pray. Hallelujah. Oh, but when you learn how to pray, it comes a motion to the house.
It brings such an anointing upon you and upon your life and your inward man, praise God. Until you find yourself, amen. Hallelujah, having feet like high feet, being able to walk up on your high places. Hallelujah.
And you know that your victory, the victory you have from day to day, from battle to battle and struggle is not because of your own goodness or your own power. Praise the Lord. It's because something is happening inside you. Praise the Lord, Hallelujah.
As you pray and you walk close to the Lord, you actually get closer to him. So Jesus, hearing his disciples, amen. Hallelujah. I said, listen, I'll teach you how to pray.
If you want to learn how to pray, he said, then he has a model prayer for you. And we know this prayer very well. Amen. Many have called it the Lord's prayer.
Amen. And it's comprised of communion, the upward look. Amen. When you're going to approach the Lord in prayer, you just don't say, hey, buddy, praise the Lord.
You need to humble yourself. That's why it's such a blessing if you still have the capability to kneel before the Lord, your maker. Praise the Lord, our God. If you can't kneel, amen.
Then you need to bow your head before the Lord, your maker. Amen. But you never, amen. Praise God.
Look at him. Praise the Lord. As if he is your equal. I know the Bible said that we should come boldly before the throne of grace, but not in the sense that we think we are God.
We are his people and the sheep of his pasture. Praise the Lord. So we humble ourselves. Amen.
And we have communion with him. Amen. And I don't have time to go through all the words of this prayer tonight. But at least, amen.
Talk about the first two words. Our Father. Praise the Lord. Because a lot of us have this tendency to think that the Lord belongs to us personally and us alone.
Sometimes we have the tendency to think that the only prayers the Lord hears are, watch out now. Hold on to your seat. Apostolic saints, prayers. Praise the Lord.
But the Bible doesn't teach us that. Praise God. Amen. Jesus said, pray our Father.
Hallelujah. Amen, because he is the Father of creation, the Father of humanity. Praise the Lord, our Lord. Amen.
You and I are just one of his children. Amen. If you're obedient, child, thank God for it. Amen.
He's got some that are obedient. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. But the Lord God belongs to us all.
Let the church say, amen. Hallelujah. And so you look up and you begin to establish that connection. You know when you call somebody, even on this modern technology, you have to dial some numbers first.
Is that right? Praise the Lord. Amen. You have to listen for the ring.
And when they answer the call, they make the connection. So you've got to make a connection with the Lord. Amen. And I wouldn't advise you to start off with a long list of petitions.
Praise God. Amen. Talk to the Lord first about who he is. Praise God.
For God is great. And is greatly to be praised. Praise the Lord. Matter of fact, sometimes that might be a whole prayer.
Just tell him how good he is. Amen. Remind him how great he is. Hallelujah.
And he's a God that has all power that fills all spaces. A God that can do anything. A God that hears and answers prayer. Remind him that he is the joy and the strength of your life.
And you feel like you can't make it without him. Let him know you love him with all of your heart. Hallelujah to God. And you thank him for all that he has done for you.
Thank him for the joy. Hallelujah. That he put down in you. Thank him for the peace that he's given to you.
Thank him for the love that he put in your heart. When he gave you the Holy Ghost, praise the Lord our God. Hallelujah. Lift your hands and glorify him.
Tell him Lord, you're great, you're greater than the host of heaven. You made the sun, the moon, the stars. All things consist by you. Hallelujah.
Nothing was made. Hallelujah. Unless you made it. Hallelujah.
You are great God. You are awesome God. Hallelujah. Tell him how big he is.
You're immense. Hallelujah. Feel all spaces. Hallelujah.
Just talk to him. Hallelujah. Amen. And let him know you appreciate him.
It's going to remind you that you're not talking to another human being. You're talking to Almighty God. Hallelujah. Sometimes you might have a tendency to doubt his power.
Hallelujah to doubt what he can do. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. But you ought to praise him.
You ought to extol his name. You ought to thank him for revealing himself to you. Praise the Lord our God. You know the day you didn't know him.
Hallelujah. My God. But sometime you've got to realize that I just need to tell the Lord. I recognize that he is great.
He is powerful. Praise the Lord if there is no one like him in all the heavens and all the earth. Commun with him. Praise the Lord.
Hallelujah. Commun with him. Until you make a connection. Commun with him.
Until you feel his presence in the room. Commun with him. Until you feel the whole equitable shandara. The Holy Ghost moving only inside.
Praise God. Don't pray like a stiff, dead person. Pray until you make a nickser. We used to sing a song, telephone to glory.
Oh, what a joy divine. I can feel the current moving on the law. Now the rest of it might not have been quite philogically correct. Praise God.
Hallelujah built by God the Father. They said, for he loves his own. Telephone to Jesus on the royal telephone. But we thank God that we have the understanding that Jesus Christ is God Almighty.
And that is not something we stumble on. That's a revelation from above. Just like Peter God. Amen.
Hallelujah. And Jesus said, whom do men say that I, the Son of Man, have? Praise God, amen. When they got to rattling off.
Jesus said, Peter, who do you say that I am? And Peter said, thou, I, the Christ, the Son of the living God. Hallelujah. Jesus made it clear to him flesh and blood.
Did not reveal this to you. This is divine. Amen. And every time God opens your eyes, as you read his word and meditate on his word.
And you receive divine revelation. You ought to lift your hands in praise. You ought to bless him. Hallelujah.
And healing himself to you. Let the church say, man. Amen. And so you make that communion.
You feel that connection. Then you make your petition. We're good at petition. So I'm not going to spend any time on that.
Because we all know how to ask. Don't we? We know how to ask for what we want and what we think we need. Praise God.
Hallelujah. And keep on asking. Because the scripture gives you that privilege. But we also need to pray for others.
We ought to remember that life is not just about us. Praise God. Sometimes you need to stop begging for yourself. And get down there and pray for somebody else.
Has the Lord ever brought anyone else to you? Amen. Praise God. Don't give them 10 seconds.
Don't give them 15 or 30 seconds. Or maybe 60 and then back. Amen. Hallelujah.
Back to petition. Praise God. Sometimes you just need to stay there and pray for somebody else. The Lord is bringing them to your mind for a reason.
Because prayer works. The Lord is bringing them to your mind. So you can intercede for them. Maybe they're going through something you don't know about.
You don't understand. You don't know what's going on with them. Praise God. Hallelujah.
But sure enough, as the Lord bring them to your mind, you ought to call on the name of the Lord and never have and pray for them. That the Lord will have mercy on them and help them. Let the church say, man, hallelujah. And then Jesus mentioned to hear the disciples.
I'll tell you that. He said, listen, I want to tell you something. There's something very important you've got to know about prayer. And since we need to grab a whole of this, it is important to learn how to import tune.
It is important to learn how to supplicate. Praise God. We're in this mode now. Amen.
I've just wanted to say it once. Matter of fact, some of us get confused about Matthew chapter 6, where Jesus talks about repetitious prayers. Those are the kind of prayers the Catholics are not thrown stones. They're stating facts.
Amen. Hail Mary, full of praise. All of you. God, the Lord's not interested in those rhymes and those that say no same words all the time.
I've sat in the Catholic church and seen very devout people. Praise God. A pure to a front of me. Just holding on to that rose rede and saying the same words over and over again.
That's what Jesus was talking about when he talks about prayers of repetition. Amen. But it's all right for you and I to repeat the request again. Amen is all right for you and I to come back again.
Hallelujah. But it's all right for you and I to keep asking. Praise God until we get an answer. Let the church say, man, amen before Jesus went to the cross.
Don't you remember in the Garden of Gethsemane? Amen. He went a stone through away three times and prayed. Don't you remember the apostle Paul said?
Those were flittin' in my body. And I sought the Lord earnestly thrice about this until I got my answer. They prayed in other words. Now, not the three years, the magic number.
But what we're trying to tell you is they prayed until they got an answer. Praise the Lord Jesus prayed until his flesh was able to submit itself to the will of God. He prayed until he was able to say, not my will. But dine me down to suntern you gotta grab a hold of the flesh and bring it down, bring it in submission to the will and the will of God.
Praise God Paul said after praying. Praise the Lord that he got a man's answer from the Lord. My grace is sufficient for thee. My strength is made perfect in your weakness.
Praise the Lord. Amen. And so he prayed until he got an answer. And you and I learned how to pray until we get an answer.
This fellow in this story, amen, went to his friend because he had a guess that showed up. My man, baby, he came unexpectedly. Amen. It was in the middle of the night.
And it was customary as a good host to give your friend something to eat, but he didn't have anything. So he went next door to his neighbor, who was a good friend, knocked on the door and said, listen, here's my situation. Give me some bread. And the man said, don't you know what time it is?
Amen. It's late. Praise the Lord. I'm in my pajamas and my children are too.
And we're in the best sleeping. You're disturbed in our sleep. Go away. Praise the Lord.
But he wouldn't go away. And sometime you got a mink of your mind. Hallelujah. I'm going to press.
I'm going to pray on. Until I get an answer from the Lord. Hallelujah. I'm not going to be easily discouraged.
Because sometimes demons are fighting you. And they want you to give up. They want you to throw up your hand. They want you to wave the white flag.
And forget about it. But you've got to learn the pajamas and the pajamas. You've got to learn the pajamas. You've got to learn the pajamas.
With strong tears and kind. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord.
Our God, you've got to pray. Until something inside you breaks. Hallelujah to God until you made up your mind. I'm going to stay here until I get a breakthrough.
How do you want deliverance? Do you want the Lord to do something special for you? Even then you just can't do it casually. Oh, glory to God.
You've got to get bound on your face. Bear your face in the floor. Cry out to the Lord. Say, Lord, I want you to help me.
I want you to heal me. I want you to deliver me. Whatever it is. I need your provision.
Straighten out my mind. Fix my heart. Fix my spirit. Hallelujah to Jesus.
Lord, there's something in me that I don't like. He's warring against me. Trying to push me out. I know my hope is in you.
I'm made up my mind. I'm going to stay on my face until I get an answer from you. You've got to make up your mind. I'm not leaving.
Until I get my blessing. I'm not leaving until I hear from on high. I won't get up. I'll stay here.
If I have to stay all night long, you talk about the old time way. That's what we used to do. Amen. We used to get in the church and stay all night long and pray and cry out to the Lord.
And I'm not thrown in his stones. But we didn't testify. And we didn't sing any songs. We prayed all night long.
Sometimes some fell asleep. But when they woke up, they started praying again. Sometimes all you need to do is pray. Hallelujah.
Until you get an answer. Until the yoke is destroyed. Until you get your joy back. Until you get your power back.
Until you have a stand up. And fight the devil in you. Hallelujah. You've had to pray.
Until you get confidence. In the Lord, you're gone. And you have no doubt. He's going to help you.
He's going to bless you. He's going to deliver you. He's going to bring you. I love you.
I hear some of you. You've got some tough situations at home. And it ain't so touch that it's driven you to your knees yet. You pray a little bit in the church.
And you pray a little bit when situations get beyond what you can bear. But you need to pray until something changes. You need to be in business with God. Hallelujah.
Don't get too comfortable. Until everything is right with God. Praise the Lord. Because he worried this man.
After a while, the man said, listen, I've got to get up. Because he keeps knocking at the door. He's liable to knock at the door all night. Praise the Lord.
And so praise God. He got him. He asked for three loaves. The man said, how many do you need?
How many do you need? How many of you have gotten more from the Lord than you asked for? I know I have. Amen.
On occasion, I have gotten more from the Lord than I asked for. Praise the Lord. And that was the case for this man. Praise the Lord.
Hallelujah to the Lord. Amen. He got to the point where he said, listen, praise God. Amen.
Just tell me what you need. Amen. And I'll give it to you. Praise the Lord.
That's why Jesus said ask. And it shall be given you. Seek. You will find.
You will receive a revelation. And here's the clincher. Everybody. The praise like they want to pray is going to receive what they're asking for.
How about that? How bad do you want it? How bad do you want it? Are you willing to press beyond convenience?
Glory to Jesus. Are you willing to press beyond convenience? Are you happy with mediocrity? Too many folks are happy with mediocrity.
Praise the Lord even in their spirit life. Now look at how Jesus says this. He said, listen, you are sinners, but you love your children, don't you? Most parents love their children.
And sometimes they give them, sometimes what they shouldn't give them that much. But because they love them, they shower blessings upon them if they have it, if they're able to. But Jesus said, listen, those of you that call yourself fathers, you have the responsibility of making provision. If your son asks for bread, are you going to give them stone?
No, no, no. If they ask for a fish, would you give them a snake? If they ask for an egg, would you give them a scorpion with a sting in his tail? No.
He said, well then, reason this out. If you being natural, how will you? You know how to give good gifts unto your children. How will you tell God?
How much more? How much more? Is right to do right? Is right to be convicted about what is right?
Is right to live holy? No doubt about it. But this is something we all need to understand. It was never about our holiness.
This is our relationship with God. It was never about our self-righteousness. It was never about our goodness. It's always been about his grace.
It's always been about his grace. Hallelujah. It's always been about God's love for us. Paul said when we were yet sinners, Christ died for the unkalah.
Hallelujah. Because if you try to see, if you measure up and you're going to pray based on how you think you measure up, then you're going to stop. You're not going to pray on. Praise the Lord.
But if you remember the fact that God is our Heavenly Father, praise the Lord, and He loves us and He's given you a mind to seek Him. Amen. Then you know, and this is Bible, you know that what thing so ever you desire when you pray doesn't make a difference how enormous it might seem to you. Because God is the object of our faith.
He's the Lord. And we know who He is. And so we pray to Jesus Christ, who is the object of our faith. Hallelujah.
Who loves us and has shown His love for us. Whatever you desire, then believe. When you pray, believe. Believe.
Believe that you will receive. Amen. And stop looking at your watch. Because time was made for us, never for God.
Hallelujah. You see, since this is really what faith is, I'm not done. This is really what faith is all about. It's not about what you see.
It's what you hope for. Faith is that evidence of things that you can't see. The evidence of what you hope for. Praise God.
Hallelujah. And so if you can believe that you're going to receive them, then Jesus promised, ye shall have them. Now somebody said, is that really a blank child? Well, for the child of God, they're not going to be asking for frivolous foolish things.
I'm talking to somebody that really loves the Lord, and wants to do us right. Amen. They don't have a feeling of entitlement for natural things. But they're praying for what their soul needs.
And they're praying for what they might need in life. And they're not asking for the whole round world. If you believe that, you believe that you receive that, amen, you will. Providing.
Providing. It is the will of the Lord. Amen. Because you can beg God for something and He'll give it to you.
But if you don't attach that addendum, you can get yourself in trouble. Just remember the Psalmist said he gave them their request, but sent meanness into their souls. So you can't remind them, folks are grabbing these scriptures and trying to use them for just a new job or a big house or more money. That's not the context of the scripture.
Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. But you ought to have a sense for what your soul needs. You ought to have a sense for how the enemy is oppressing you or fighting against you.
And you pray about those things and you believe that the Lord will give it to you, that you receive it, and you will, as long as you say, if it be, you will. I don't know about you, but I don't want anything personally that is not God's will for me. If it's going to cause me to leave Jesus, I don't need it. I don't care who has it.
Maybe somebody else can have it. If it calls me to be lost, I don't need it. Praise the Lord. I know there's something I need.
Praise the Lord. And Jesus winds this all up in Luke 11 by saying, let me tell you something. If you ask the Lord for the Holy Ghost, do I have a witness in here? He'll give you the Holy Ghost.
The devil's all kind of crazy talk. He's a liar. You tell you the Lord's not going to give you the Holy Ghost. But listen, the Bible says, Jesus, fear not a little flock.
For it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Paul said to Timothy, it's not cause will that any should perish. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord, how about God?
Amen. It's the will of God for everybody to be saved. Now he's not going to say, if anyone against their will, but he makes it very clear here that if we pray for the Holy Ghost, he will give it to us. I'm a witness.
He will give it to you. Hallelujah. You thoroughly repent and believe he will give it to you. It's a gift.
Praise God. I'm glad about it tonight. But since we can't stop, we can't stop praying. There's a lot of things we do here at Apostolic Fellowship Church.
In terms of worship, in terms of work, etc. etc. But let us never stop praying. If we get to the point where we can't do anything else, then let us do that.
Let us do that. Amen. Because out of that spiritual discipline out of that practice will come every good thing that God desires for us. Paul said all things are yours.
It comes from making that connection in prayer. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. You might have to wait a little while, but that's all right.
Amen. Some things may not turn out exactly like you wanted them. But if you stay there, you'll find yourself accepting God's will in the matter and letting go of yours. You're not going to know that's one of the times we're most disappointed when the Lord doesn't do what we asked him to do, but we never asked what do you want, Lord?
We never asked that. We want to force our will on the Lord. But when you yield to him, and say, Lord, I don't understand it. I just want your will to be.
I'm praying about this, but I want your will to be done. You'll be glorified. Hallelujah. You'll be glorified in this.
He will bless you. Amen. Pray on, Saints. I'll never have to ask for volunteers for prayer and hands don't go up.
Praise the Lord. We must pray. We must pray. That's the only way this church is going to go forward and accomplish.
The destiny Christ said for us. We could fool around and be carnal minded and go after a lot of stuff that's out here. We can remain true. Hallelujah.
But we cannot remain true without prayer. You're going to notice a great revival in your soul when you learn how to get on your face. Young people, you won't be so, and some of the older ones are like, you won't be so attracted to the things that the world has to offer, to its style, to its look, to its talk, to its philosophies. Amen.
You won't be drawn by that when you really pray like you ought. Hallelujah. You don't think you're strange or weird or old-fashioned. Let them say what they want to say.
But when your soul is connected to Jesus, there is a satisfaction that you experience that gives you a confidence. Do you really don't care what people say? You get beyond that you're wanting to impress people and make everybody happy and praise the Lord. You want to make Jesus happy.
And when you make Jesus happy, everybody that loves Jesus is going to be happy with you. You can't do nothing with the other folk in here. It's going to take them a while to grow up to figure this out. But you just continue to pray and walk by faith in God.
Pray on, 6th 11th, and you've got some announcements for us tonight.
