Prayer against addiction Heavenly Father I come to you broken and in need of your healing Addiction has taken hold of my life and I feel powerless against its grip Lord I know that nothing is impossible for you I ask you to break these chains that bind me whether they are physical emotional or spiritual Cleanse me from every desire that draws me away from you Fill the empty places in my heart with your love your peace and your purpose Give me the strength to say no when temptation rises and surround me with people who will support guide and encourage me in truth Heal the wounds that feed my pain and restore what addiction has stolen from me Remind me daily that my identity is not in my struggle but in Christ who gives me victory I surrender this battle to you Lord Walk with me fight for me and help me walk in freedom one day at a time In Jesus' name I pray
