Prayer against anger Heavenly Father I come before you with a heavy heart burdened by anger that I cannot seem to shake Lord You are slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love Help me to be more like You Calm the storm within me When my heart is troubled and my spirit rises in frustration grant me Your peace Teach me to pause before I speak to reflect before I act and to forgive as You have forgiven me Remove bitterness wrath and rage from my soul and replace them with patience understanding and love Give me wisdom to handle conflict with grace and the strength to overcome temptation May Your Holy Spirit guide my thoughts and words and may Your peace rule in my heart always Transform my anger into compassion and use even this struggle to make me more like Christ In Jesus' name I pray Amen
