Prayer // Daniel's Prayer [Daniel 9] (Peter Sun)

As we take a break from our current series in 1st Samuel, Peter Sun takes us through Daniel's prayer and the results of his visit from the angel Gabriel in Daniel chapter 9. Peter breaks down Daniel chapter 9 and discusses how this is the backbone of Biblical prophecy and how Daniel misunderstood Jeremiah's prophecy of the 70 years of desolation. Peter then goes into depth explaining the 70-week prophecy and the maths behind it as he understands it in the lead to the Messianic Kingdom. He discusses the current day Israel and its roll in this prophecy, and how events today show how we are living in the time of "birth pains" and the rapture of the Church which can happen at any moment. He wraps up discussing how these events should affect our prayer lives based on Daniel chapter 9.
