Prayer Devotional - Praying for Your Nation

from A Closer Walk Broadcast's tracks Hosted by A Closer Walk Broadcast

Praying for those in authority over us is a Biblical command! God instructs us in His Word how we should pray for all men and especially those who rule over us. First of all, I urge you to pray for all people. That petitions, prayers, intercessions and thanksgivings be made on their behalf. For kings, and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all Godliness and holiness. For this is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. - 1 Tim. 2:1-4
