I often hear from people that they don't pray because they don't know what to say or because they think they have to say specific words or use specific phrases or be in a specific place, but the reality of the situation is that God loves to hear from us no matter what we're saying and no matter where we're saying it from. Stop avoiding prayer because of your self-inflicted rules and regulations. Just open up your mouth or your mind and share what's on your heart with the Lord. Quite honestly, He's already more than aware. Remember, He's at work in your hot mess life!
