Prayer for Our Children

Join Pat Willie as she brings you two minutes of prayer and reflection.  We believe that prayer is essential, life-giving, and life-sustaining.   In this 2 minute prayer, we pray for our children. Please join us for 2 minutes of prayer to our Lord and Savior. Transcription: Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining in this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray. Father God in the name of Jesus. We thank you. We give you glory and praise. We honor you for our lives. We thank you for the abundant life that we have in you. And it's because of Christ. Jesus. We have accepted him as our personal savior and Lord., therefore God, the abundance of blessings that have declared in your word, belongs to us. And God, we pray for our children today. In Jesus' name, we ask that you would keep them safe. We asked that you would cover our children, with your protection. In the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We pray, Oh God. In Jesus. Name that as parents that we would see the gifts and the callings that you have placed in our children. And that we will begin to cultivate them and steer them and train them in a way that they should go. And your word says, and when they are old they will not depart from it. We thank you that when we teach your children, our children, your word that it remains with them throughout their lives in Jesus' name. And God, even for our adult children and our grandchildren. We pray for your protection. We pray for your healing. We pray God in the name of s Jesus, that every relationship will be reconciled in Jesus' name. That we will put aside our misunderstandings. We'll put aside our unforgiveness and God in the name of Jesus, we will value unity in our families and in our homes, in Jesus name. Teach us as parents, how to love our children, teach our children how to respond and respect the parents in Jesus' name. We thank you, God, that you have ordered the home. We thank you, God, that you have given us beautiful children, beautiful grandchildren, and God that you're keeping them safe. And we pray in the name of Jesus for healthy families and healthy children. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen. Thanks for listening in today.
