Prayer for the Faith to Forgive Forgiveness requires faith in God’s ability to soften and restore our hearts. We don’t want to admit that we trusted someone or something and it got the best of us. But forgiveness is for the forgiver. We can’t move forward with all that God has for us when we have unforgiveness in our hearts. Unforgiveness cripples our ability to have a right relationship with our father. So, let’s go before God with humble hearts seeking a strengthening of our faith to forgive.
