Prayer from Isaiah 61

Heavenly Father, we gather before you, inspired by your life-giving Word in Isaiah 61. This scripture proclaims good news to those burdened by an old mindset over money, offering freedom from negative thinking and counsel for those seeking freedom leading to the abundant life that Jesus offered to us. We ask for your empowerment to embrace a fresh understanding of wealth, especially on this day, 8.18, August 18th, reminding us of Deuteronomy 8:18, which teaches us to remember that it is our Lord, who provides the ability to produce wealth, affirming his everlasting covenant with us, his people. As we reflect on Isaiah 61, particularly verses 4-6, we cling to the hope that we are called to rebuild and restore what has been devastated. Jesus, you promise that as your representatives, we will partake in the wealth of nations and inherit their riches. We ask for a transformative mindset to thrive in our workplaces, understanding your urgent call for a kingdom wealth mindset.Father God, anoint us as a united community, positioning us as catalysts for hope and change in our surroundings.
