My house shall be called the house of prayer; serves as a guiding light for our discussion on the significance of prayer in the home. DESCRIPTION: Today Podcast is a powerful reminder of the significance of prayer in your home. As Joshua declared in the twenty-fourth chapter and the latter clause of verse 15, “But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Many of us came from homes where there was some type of prayer, but it was in various forms. The scripture tells us to pray without ceasing. This is not the time to stop prayer in the home. Prayers nurture the legacy of faith, a legacy that has been passed down from generation to generation, connecting us all in a larger spiritual community. Once the family begins to value and believe in prayer, it becomes a torch passed on, and the flame will not go out. As we remain consistent with a life of prayer, we can expect God to reveal His glory. “IT ONLY TAKES A MOMENT!” This is Mary L Whitby with a “MARY L WHITBY TEACHING MOMENT, “IT WILL ONLY TAKE A MOMENT. “ As we conclude, let's remember the scripture from Joshua 24:15, ;but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
