Prayer Lessons For Maturing Believers Why do you pray the way you do? Is it because that's the socially acceptable way, the traditional way? Or because that's the way to do it as you've seen from the word. We see that we've been delivered from the power of darkness and that the charges of legal indebtedness against us have been cancelled. And so in prayer, we are to approach God with boldness and confidence. Heb 4:16 Important questions to ask about prayer 1. Why do we pray? 2. How do we pray? 3. What do we pray Why do we pray? -For fellowship with God. This is the most important and highest purpose of prayer. -Transformation. Changed desires and an alignment of our lives with what God has said about you. -Access to divine secrets -Answers and results How do we pray? -Pray from your heart -Keep praying, keep asking, keep seeking and keep knocking. Persevere. What do we pray? - We pray the will of God. - We pray what God has said. We let our ears hear our mouths say what God has said about us @PD †
