As it flickers, dancing to the soft rhythm of the night’s breeze, the mind slowly settles to quiet, With eyes lightly closed, with the comfort of its small glow, Head bowed, breathe and heart merging as one steady calming beat, I look into my mind and soul, and search for the peace and the tranquility. Finding you there, lovingly and patiently waiting for me, Arms outstretched, smile so gentle, eyes full of mercy. You take me into your embrace, as I start to whisper the words…… “Father, thank you for all your blessings, forgive us our sins and keep us safe from harm”
