PrayerLife - September 1 2016 - Prayer For Decisions

When making important decisions, Jesus prayed. "In these days he went out to the mountain to pray, and all night he continued in prayer to God" (Luke 6:12). What important decision was Jesus preparing to make? Luke tells us, "And when day came, he called his disciples and chose from them twelve, whom he named apostles" (Luke 6:13). Choosing a college, moving to another city, selecting a mate ... these are all important decisions. Like Jesus, we need to invite God's wisdom and guidance for key choices.
