Praying For Our Cities Day 4

Hello and welcome to the podcast, my name is Nicole. You are listening to Pray the Word. In this season of Pray the Word we will be using a resource called Praying God's Word Over Your City; 40 Days of Prayer Toward a Transformed Community by Trey and Mary Anne Kent, an excellent resource that has more within each "day" than what we share here, and we highly recommend it for those of you called to be watchmen. You can find and purchase their resource here on ⁠prayershop.org⁠ This podcast will be set up so that you can prayer walk with it, using the prompts for more extended and "onsite with insight" prayers. As always, let us know you are praying and the name of your town so we can join you and pray in agreement. At the end of each episode there will be Prayer Points for you to listen and pray through. Be free to pause the podcast at anytime to pray out what Holy Spirit is prompting.  The Lord is not slow to fulfill His promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 Prayer Points: Seek God's forgiveness for any and all distinctions you've made between those who seem to be reachable for Christ and those who do not. Believe that Father God will give you His heart of love equally for all. Ask today to see the lost repent and turn to Christ in saving faith. Receive from God a fresh empowerment to display the fruit of the Spirit, including patience, as you interact with those far from God. Pray specifically for those in your life who are hard to reach. Pray they will come to repentance. Repentance is not a few hot tears at the penitent form. It is not emotion or remorse or reformation.
