Praying That God Will Work All Things Together For Good Scripture: Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” When we pray for our families, there will be times when we do not understand what God is doing. We see struggles, disappointments, setbacks, broken dreams, difficult seasons, and unanswered questions. We watch people we love walk through valleys that we would gladly walk for them if we could. In those moments, prayer becomes more than a request, it becomes an act of trust. Romans 8:28 reminds us of a powerful truth: God is always at work. Notice that Scripture does not say all things are good. Some situations are painful. Some seasons are difficult. Some roads are marked by heartache and uncertainty.
