Praying in the Holy Ghost...Part 1

Covenant Friendship with God. In his teaching on understanding the mysteries of God, Pastor Caleb Santos explains that while some secrets belong solely to the Lord, He actively reveals hidden truths to His covenant people. Drawing from Deuteronomy 29:29, the pastor describes how God shares future previews and deep revelations with those He considers friends, much like He did when presenting the gospel to Abraham. This friendship is not casual; rather, it represents an intimate, covenantal partnership characterized by communion and shared promises between God and His followers. The Power of Praying in Tongues. The pastor further emphasizes the critical role of the Holy Spirit in navigating moments when believers hit a wall and lack human answers. Referencing Romans 8:26 and 1 Corinthians 14, he highlights that praying in tongues allows the Holy Spirit to intercede on our behalf and help overcome our earthly weaknesses. This spiritual practice is presented as a vital tool for unraveling life's mysteries, receiving divine interpretation, and unlocking breakthroughs when individuals feel discouraged or uncertain. Angelic Assistance and Breakthrough. Finally, the sermon explores the active ministry of angels, describing them as ministering spirits sent by God to protect and assist those inheriting salvation. To illustrate this, Pastor Santos shares a personal testimony about recovering a lost, expensive computerized key for a 2014 Nissan Altima. After human efforts failed, he paused to pray in tongues and commanded his angel to release the key, resulting in its discovery the very next day. He concludes by dismissing traditional warnings against these spiritual practices, suggesting instead that such warnings are meant to keep believers in bondage.
