Praying in the spirit (Praying Always Series, 5)

Continuing our Praying Always series, Pastor Tolu Ayeni spoke about praying in the Spirit, which is such an important part of our prayer life. He encouraged us to pray more in tongues—because that’s really what it means to pray in the Spirit. When we do that, we’re letting God’s Spirit in us guide our prayers. We learned that praying in tongues helps us pray better, stay in line with God’s will, and even pray about things we wouldn’t normally think of. It also helps us intercede for others, especially when we don’t know exactly what they need—because the Spirit does.
