Praying through Psalm 24: Thanksgiving 2019

It took me a solid year before I was able to utter my first prayer. It took many, many years before I was comfortable in praying publically. Prayer is among the most intimate activities I engage in on a day by day basis. Letting anyone else in on my conversations with Jesus was very intimidating. Yet I have learned to listen to others pray, the blessing of one letting another hear their familiar talk with the Holy God of the universe. In an effort, not to go dark for the next two weeks and model praying through the word of God, the next 5 episodes will be prayers through the psalms. Lord, teach us to pray. I am praying these might be encouraging to prayer lives and praying anyone who listens will have at least a fraction of the joy prayer brings to the soul of this lowly slave of our merciful Savior, Jesus who is the Christ.
