Praying To Consecrate Ourselves to Jesus

There are two sides to sanctification. There is separation and consecration. Separation is what we are removing from our lives. Consecration is what we are adding to our lives. In separation we remove sin from our lives. In consecration we add greater levels of devotion to Christ to our lives. In consecration, we give ourselves to Jesus so completely, we do His will regardless of what His will may be, or what it may cost us. We prioritize Jesus’ will over our will, so every aspect of our lives is lived for Jesus. When we have consecrated ourselves to Jesus, we have abandoned ourselves to do the will of Jesus.
