Trying to control life leaves people anxious and without peace. Jesus teaches His disciples to pray for God's kingdom and will to take hold not only in the world, but within their own hearts. Such surrender rests on trust. Through Jesus' work on the cross, believers are adopted into God's family, so they approach the all-powerful King as their loving Father.
