Praying with John - Part 3

In this meditation on the third chapter of Saint John’s Gospel, we accompany Nicodemus as he approaches our Lord in the darkness of his weak faith. We see how Christ meets our human inadequacy and uses it to reveal profound truths about baptism, the sovereign freedom of the Holy Spirit, and the love of the Father shown on the Cross. Like Saint John the Baptist, we are prompted to embrace a holy humility, asking for the grace of sincere hearts so that Christ may increase whilst we decrease.
