Send us Fan MailDo you have an excuse prepared in advance regarding the prayers you are currently praying, before you receive a response? I say that you will know by what you do next after you hear that God is going to grant you your request. Now let's see if we have an example of this in the Bible. We will see what Luke and James have to say about this way of thinking:We will start with some background scripture so as to avoid the, ”What is Podcast Preacher talk ‘in bout now”, comment:Luke 1:5-6 - 5 There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the division of Abijah. His wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth. 6 And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.Luke 1:7 – 7 But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren, and they were both well advanced in years.Luke 1:13-14 – 13 But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John. 14 And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth.Luke 1:18 - 18 And Zacharias said to the angel, “How shall I know this? For I am an old man, and my wife is well advanced in years.”So now let’s breakdown this story about Zacharias and Elizabeth and see how it pertains to the thought that it is possible to work up and even rehearse unbelief, even but especially before we actually pray. And but if we do, do this then the question remains, why pray at all if we expect a no-show and a no-speaky from God. And but also since this is a shorty-message I just want to be sure that this message gets on your radar as something we can do even in what we think is our own special clowd of faith. Keep in mind the scripture defines this couple as, “righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.” Ha, if anyone would have expected God to respond it should have been Zacharias who had the correct heavenly pedigree. I say this because 2026 is coming around and it is time for you to pray as if you actually expected God to respond. Lay down your expectations for how He will respond only be open to Him and to His response in and through His methods. https://appliedstrengthsministry.org/
