Preachers N Sneakers' Ben Kirby on balancing wanting more and contentment (that I struggle with)

from SeedTime with Bob and Linda Lotich · host Bob Lotich, Ben Kirby

Money is taboo enough that when you add in Christianity to the discussion things get sticky real fast.  But it seems to us that having honest conversations about our lack of contentment and never-ending desire for more is a healthy thing to do.  Ben Kirby (of Preachers N Sneakers fame) created an instagram account to stimulate these discussions.  Then he wrote a book expanding the conversation about some questions 21st century Christians should be asking. Ultimately our goal is never to judge how someone else spends money, but rather to take an honest look at what we can learn from our own mistakes and the mistakes of others.  Links Mentioned: Preachers N Sneakers - https://www.instagram.com/preachersnsneakers/    These are a few of the topics we cover: How much should Christians spend on shoes, cars, clothes, etc? Taking an audit of your heart and intentions How to enjoy what God has given you all while being a good steward   Find out more at https://seedtime.com/preachers-n-sneakers/   If you haven't checked out our best-selling book Simple Money, Rich Life (https://seedtime.com/smrl/), we think you'll love it. It was named the 2022 Book of the Year by ICFH and has over 600 5-star reviews on Amazon, and is best described as "a money book for people who don't read money books."  You can take it for a test drive for FREE at https://SeedTime.com/sample where you can download chapter 1 of the audiobook, grab the 1st 2 chapters of the ebook version, and even get the 5-week book study companion guide.
