Preaching and Enduring God's Word (2 Timothy 3:16-4:5)

All Scripture is breathed out by God—and it is meant to do more than inform us. In 2 Timothy 3–4, Paul reminds Timothy that God’s word teaches, reproves, corrects, and trains us in righteousness so that we can be equipped for every good work.But what happens when Scripture tells us something we don’t want to hear? We live in a world filled with voices, opinions, podcasts, and teachers ready to tell us exactly what we want to believe. The challenge for every believer then is to remain tethered to God’s Word, even when it confronts us, corrects us, or asks us to change.This message explores what it means to endure sound teaching, resist the voices that only tell us what we want to hear, and faithfully fulfill the ministry God has given each of us.
