Precepts and Statutes
from God’s Holy Mountain Broadcast Hosted by Evangelist Martha P. Davis
In this sermon, Evangelist Martha P. Davis calls believers back to wholehearted obedience to God's Word. Preaching from Isaiah 28, Psalm 19, Psalm 119, and Ecclesiastes 12, she explains that God's precepts, statutes, and commandments are not burdens but life-giving instructions designed to lead His people into righteousness and truth. She emphasizes that God's mercy never cancels His holiness or His righteous standards. While God is loving and long-suffering, He is also the Judge who will hold every person accountable. True Christianity requires more than believing in God—it requires being born again, walking in obedience, rejecting compromise, and allowing the Holy Spirit to transform the heart. Throughout the message, she urges listeners to study Scripture daily, treasure God's Word above earthly riches, repent of hidden and presumptuous sins, and live in the fear of the Lord. She reminds believers that God's Word is perfect, converting the soul, making the simple wise, and preparing His people for the eternal reward awaiting those who faithfully endure. This sermon is a passionate call to return to the authority of God's Word, embrace His holy standards, and live according to His precepts until Christ returns.
