Predator: Badlands

Strap in as we hunt down Dan Trachtenberg's Predator: Badlands (2025). We're dissecting Elle Fanning's role as a chatty, bisected synthetic "backpack" and wondering if our Predator hero, Dex, has too many daddy issues. From exploding caterpillars to a funny baby monkey , we explore the noisy world-building and that Aliens-inspired yellow mech suit finale. Is he too soft, or just misunderstood? Special thanks to Le Goose for our intro music. Director: Dan Trachtenberg Writers: Patrick Aison, Dan Trachtenberg, Jim Thomas Stars: Elle Fanning, Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi, Ravi Narayan
