Predators Eye MacFarland as GM Target
from Nashville Predators News Today | 2 Min News | The Daily News Now!
Nashville Predators are in a prolonged GM search, reportedly eyeing Colorado Avalanche’s Chris MacFarland as a top target — but don’t expect a move anytime soon, since the Avalanche are still playoff contenders and MacFarland’s contract isn’t up. Insider Elliotte Friedman confirms the delay isn’t random; it’s a calculated wait. Previous attempts to interview Carolina’s Eric Tulsky were denied, highlighting Nashville’s cautious approach. With no GM since Barry Trotz’s mid-season exit and the team missing the playoffs, the Predators’ next hire could reshape their future — but first, they’ll have to wait for the right moment.
