IN THIS PODCAST: This podcast provides an explanation of predestination according to the bible. The discussion begins with a synopsis of what we learned from our week of fasting regarding the corona virus. God does not send viruses, but Angels release them and other plagues as the consequence of violation of God’s laws. 2 Chronicles 7:14 provides a summary of God’s answer for the plagues that occurred in the bible and that answer is still relevant for us. An analysis of who is the son of perdition, the beast and the false prophet is included in the discussion. God predestined that there would be a son of perdition but did not predestine that he be a specific person or persons. We each have a choice of two destinations, eternal bliss and union with God, or eternal separation from God. When we choose eternal separation from God, we too may become the son of perdition. The beast is the social and political systems of this world, while the false prophet are wayward religious systems that once were true to God, but have gone astray.
