Greetings, greetings. Welcome to another episode of Truth to Power. I am your host, Taurus to Realm Ignite and today I wanted to talk about being able to seek things before they happen. And a lot of people may somewhat, I guess, kind of like this, miss certain things, but you've got to be able to seek things before it happens and you've got to be able to avoid errors.

Some people may ask themselves, well, I'm not psychic. How can I seek things before they happen? For the habit. One of the ways that you can seek things before they happen is you have to look at the past.

You have to look at certain trends that are going on right now and you have to make a prediction. You have to be smart enough to make a prediction and also have enough confidence in your intellect to say, hey, if this is the way that the world is moving, this is the way that I need to move as well. Or I need to get here to this spot before anybody else does. And I bring this point up because I think sometimes as black people in America, we could sometimes we wait on events to happen and still a driving event.

We sometimes wait for people to tell us that there's a storm coming before we actually get out a badge. Now, I'm from Canada, Louisiana, and I was actually experiencing a train even though people are from, and it's like, for those who don't know, Canada is a surrounding area of New Orleans, Louisiana. Even though I stay in New Orleans right now currently, I stay in the city currently right now, I'm from Canada, and it's like a surrounding area of New Orleans. And a lot of people from New Orleans don't really acknowledge Canada as being a part of the city, but that is what it is.

But we've actually experienced Hurricane Katrina as well, that we lost the house as well. We've had our roof cave in as well, and we have to be displaced in, you know, make adjustments as a family. But during that time, a lot of people didn't leave the city of New Orleans. And part of the reason is because most people from New Orleans, they have been here their whole life.

And another reason is economics, of course, I bring up economics every chance I get on the lack of economics. But a lot of that has to do with the fact that a lot of people in New Orleans have never even left the city before. And it's tragic. A lot of people from New Orleans have never left the city of New Orleans.

And even when somebody told me that they installed me, they just refused to just get up and go. Or they didn't prepare themselves to have the means to want to go, or to want to explore new territories. Mentally, I have to say this, you guys. And I love the city of New Orleans, but mentally and New Orleans and Louisiana sometimes, the intellect is limited.

How we process information is limited. We don't go out in the world and we don't explore certain things. We don't explore what's the best we can do. We only worry about this little packet of New Orleans, which is okay if you actually concentrate on a packet.

But while we're here in New Orleans, most people want to party, drink. Most people want to quote unquote have a good time, which is all fine and dandy. But at the same time, do we get our finances together? Are we getting our future together for our children?

We're just living for right now. Because I know New Orleans has been the part of the city, psychologically New Orleans has been the part of the city, but also with the murder and the crime rate being what it is in the city of New Orleans. I guess people like me, I never know when I'm a ghost. So I'm just going to enjoy myself for today.

And I think about tomorrow. But tomorrow is always upon us. It's always breathing around our neck. But I want to just oppose that to the conversation that I want to have with you guys tonight and talk about being able to see things before they happen.

Now, I made a documentary called New Orleans 2030. Because I saw the trend in which New Orleans was going economically, I saw the trend in which New Orleans was going and heading in. And a lot of people in the joke was, hey, he's coming out with a documentary called New Orleans 2030 in the year 2023. But I saw where the trends and I saw where everything was heading.

And if we as black Americans in the city of New Orleans don't get things together, then we are headed to destruction. We are headed for destruction. Most people are not focused. They are not focused.

I was having this conversation with one of my buddies name, who were talking about, you know, certain people having cars, having luxury vehicles, but not having a place to stay. Man, what? That's that right there. That's pitiful.

How can you have a luxury car that's going to cost upwards to like $60,000 to $80,000. And now have a place to stay. I just say, you know what I'm going to say on the back, you know, just say, you lose luxury car and you're paying $30,000 for a car. How can you still not have a place to stay?

I'll move over your head and be stable. How can you not work to be a stable individual within this work and just in within a work of New Orleans and the things that I do in New Orleans, I always find that some things are just the lowest calls. But I'm refusing, I'm refusing to give up even though I got to tell y'all, I got to be completely honest with you guys. I have family members, I have friends, tell me, Tara's why do you go out to see so much.

Tara's just leave New Orleans, leave Louisiana, especially since I have the capabilities to do so. But I keep telling them, I got one more gift. I got one more gift to give them, which I do, which is true. I'll be working on these latest documentary about New Orleans, very soon, called New Orleans Forever.

Then I'm a probably just leave New Orleans alone for a while. I leave the city of New Orleans, you know, come back and you know, regale you guys the stories of my travels and things that I've learned and the people that I've met. But yeah, man, it's getting to that point. But I brought this up.

The reason for this episode, I'm losing my train of thought. I got to stay focused, stay in focus. But the reason why I brought this episode up was I was on Instagram that are there. And I was talking about, and I saw an old Instagram post of the podcast, the truth of power.

And I was talking about China's 2025 plan. And it was a plan for China to become a super economic power in the world. This was back in 2020. And also, if you're listening back to the 2020 episodes, in 2020, I was talking about New Orleans 2030 then, we're in the year 2024.

Time is moving fast. But I was talking about a plan that China was about to integrate to NAIC, which was going to make them a super economic power. And if you look at certain trends, if you look at certain things that's going on with the internet and TikTok, and how they're trying to be in TikTok and things like that, you know, paying how certain entities that are prominent in the United States, abandoned China on internet like Roblox, YouTube, and certain other entities, you see that China's gearing up to compete. They've been competitive this whole time.

But I don't know if they're gearing up to compete or if they're gearing up to defeat. But either way, the way the world, the way the United States is going right now is not in a good space. Do United States gives a stronghold on power to war and through intimidation. But what's going to happen when we come up against an enemy or a possible threat, that doesn't care about any of that.

That's willing to go to war. And that could possibly invade our borders. I think the last time that happened was Pearl Harbor. The last time the United States had an act of open terrorism where some foreign enemy came in and attacked, the United States saw it was Pearl Harbor.

Of course we had the 9-11 text, but that was like what the Congress leader sells. So it's kind of different. But, you know, in the midst of all that, I was telling people, I was like, man, you know, we got to focus on tripling and doubling our income. And I learned this from this guy by the name of Jason Blake.

I gave Jason Blake shout-outs every chance that I get because listening to him is something that really was tremendous for my life because I didn't think about these things. I didn't have the where I thought these things about tripling and doubling my income every so many months. So I could compete in this world financially because, you know, the famous worries are money tops, but what's your fault? And now that I stay in war, as I could honestly say that New Orleans, I don't know what you're playing on during the near future, but it's time for us as citizens to come together and have a business collectively.

I'm not talking about getting together in a certain spot, but it's time to get on cold collectively. I could remember, I don't bring this up to outside the conversation with the group of people in New Orleans, and they were like, well, what can we do? You know, it's all in politicians. Now, this is what I talk about when I talk about the thinking is limited.

Okay, in every other sector of the world and the United States and this country, elected officials, feets are held to the firmness because you put them in office, you've elected them. But I got to say this for the majority of people in New Orleans are very lazy in the fact that they don't want to act upon their own survival. And that could be very frustrating seeing it from the outside looking in or even from inside looking out. There's a lot of entitlement in this city that needs to go.

But when we're talking about the next elected official or mayor of New Orleans, we need a candidate that's going to run on an economic ticket, not on education, because black people love education, old black people love education. And I'm telling you, I'm saying to, you know, New Orleans has an old legal problem. Got too many of them, too many old black people that only focus on education, get to education, get to education. Make sure you get to education.

Education is nothing if you're not controlling the jobs. There are people with medical degrees that don't run hospitals. There's people with MBAs that run hospitals. Trust me, I know the CEOs and the CFOs of Ashner, MBAs, not MDs, same thing with LCM, LCM, LCAs, whatever the acronym is, without you my drift, same thing with those hospitals.

And you're talking to the person that has a master's degree. And I'm trying to tell you that for future tense, as a people, we got to be more vigilant about the future and see things before they happen. Now, I think it's first, I want to before I end this show and conclusion, I want to say thank you for all who have supported me, supporting my books, low hanging fruit, they're still doing numbers. Like I'm sorry, this apology takes on all these doing numbers.

The movie is coming soon along with the poetic Stephanie, who's just planning everything out. I want everything to be right, y'all. Also, what else did I want to say? You know, New Orleans 2030 has been picked up by yet another streaming service.

So I got like 18 streaming services with all my content running through all three, all three of my content running through those streaming services. All at once, and that's a real huge blessing. That's a big deal for me. And my next book, I got, I'm working on three books right now, all at once, of course, I'm working on two feet, I'm working on, what's my other one?

I'm working on a poetry book, another poetry book, and then life was wonderful again, and life and love was wonderful again. Then I'm working on, what's the other book? Oh, yeah, four of them, four of them books. I got the grassy, no-of-factitious account of the JFK assassination, and I have the Lorraine Motel, which is a fictitious account of the MLK assassination.

And, you know, so I just been working on the grind, putting out books, putting out movies, and you know, because I'm sorry, this apology took so long, is ready and ready to go, and it's a wonderful film, but I just got to continue to touch it until it's almost perfect. So that's what it is. But thank you guys for joining me tonight. I just spoke truth to power.

Have a good night.
