In the time of Jesus, today’s gospel was addressed to the Pharisees but today this gospel is addressed to us Christians. We believe we have the key to paradise, we believe our canon is the best, we believe we are on the right; we believe we are closer to God than another person but we forget that the intention of the father is to save everybody. We forget that the word was made flesh; He walked amongst us, taught us the way of the father, died and was resurrected not for the salvation of just a few persons but of all mankind. Let Us Pray: Lord Jesus, we don’t want to be too perfect that we become blind to the struggles of mankind, teach us to rejoice when a lost soul is found, ignite also in us the joy of mission.
