Merging with violet light, the rays of two suns illuminated a dump of rusted and decayed spaceships of the most bizarre shapes and designs. Above the surface, pulling on powerful ropes that went deep, a giant ball was swaying. Below it, sunk in the sand to the waterline, stood the ruins of a huge ship with high towers and cannons. The strangers sat on the rocket nozzle and listened to a tape recorder with earthly recordings.
