Artist: As an experimental producer, label owner and mastering engineer, Kevin Halliday has his creative fingers in many musical pies. Under the moniker Denizens, the Kilmarnock man focuses his energies on more industrial and breakbeat soundscapes, occasionally delving into the hardcore side of the genres. Having released on labels such as ‘The Meaning of Rave’, ‘Archivio01’ and ‘Dark Carousel’, Kevin’s releases are always of the highest quality. The Track: Inspired by retro, PS1 soundtracks, this track masterfully combines blissful melodies and synths with strong, broken percussion.
