Originally from Scotland, but currently living in Colombia, iluna's music combines raw percussion, deep pads, and hypnotic energy. iluna's productions have so far been exclusive to Tribal Pulse, and this is her second solo EP for the imprint. She is also a skilled DJ who has played alongside other artists ranging from Leftfield to DJ Pierre. The release includes two original tracks, each with an alternative version also produced by iluna. "Sauchiehall Circuit (Reset Mix)" opens the release with its call-and-response acid, mingling with a euphoric melody and throbbing bass. Next up, "Sauchiehall Circuit (Surge Mix)" is a gritty version with distorted drums giving it a more aggressive sound. "Smoke (G83 Mix)" is a deep techno track with majestic pads contrasting with brutal drum sounds. "Smoke (Cosmic Beach Mix)" has toughened drums and an extra melody part, plus a refined structure that's tailor-made for a dance floor.
